My name is Pam Killeen. As a nutritional consultant, my goal is to help clients achieve their wellness goals. Illness develops in stages. Years of physical, biochemical, and emotional stressors deplete the body of nutrients, cause the accumulation of toxic metals, and disturb the body chemistry. These insults are added to imbalances, deficiencies, and toxicity with which almost everyone today is born. Deep healing is a reversal of this degenerative process, and is far more than eliminating symptoms, which often masks deeper problems. Symptom removal is a very popular approach, but the program I use works at a much deeper, biochemical level, getting to the root cause of why individuals are so sick today.
The focus of my clinical practice is a very unique and comprehensive program called Nutritional Balancing (or, what I also like to call Biochemical Restoration). It takes years for people to disrupt their biochemistry, therefore in order to fully restore one's health, one must be extremely patient while on my program. It can take an average of two years before one is "running on all 8 cylinders." In terms of its degree of difficulty, on a scale of 1-10, the program is a 10. A unique feature of Nutritional Balancing is that clients are actively involved in their own healing process. In other words, this program is only for individuals who are willing to put forth a lot of hard work and dedication into their wellness goals.

Under our current health care system, over 80% of the population will die from chronic disease. Depression is our leading cause of disability. Yet, when explorers studied primitive cultures, it was noted that these people were radiantly healthy -- both physically and mentally. What did they know that we don't? What laws did they learn about the connection between nutrition and health that we have disregarded? Given how sick we are today, if we expect to return to health, we need to tap into the nutritional wisdom of our ancestors. In my program, I emphasize the importance of returning to a traditional foods diet. By mimicking the diet of our healthy ancestors, we too can achieve robust mental and physical health. To further enhance one's health, I also help my clients repair the underlying reasons behind their illness so that their biochemistry eventually mimics the biochemistry of a healthy person.
