"A shell game can be defined as a fraud or deception perpetrated by shifting conspicuous things to hide something else....." To find out more about why Professor Cummins has such grave concerns over the secretive nature under which the GMO purple tomato has been approved here in Canada be sure to read his article below. According to Professor Cummins, when it comes to the fast and loose approval of transgenic tomatoes, our government seems to be irrationally secretive as if they were building biological weapons not freaky tomatoes for scary salads.

If we want to help stop our province from going bankrupt (due to the health care crisis), taxing junk food could at least make people think twice before buying these nutrient-deficient, health-destroying foods.
